Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer/Industrial Engineer in Durham, NC for a 12-month, on-site engagement. The role focuses on implementing and sustaining the Operational Excellence strategy, aligning SQDC objectives, and coaching the Change to Win and BD Production System programs.

You will lead Kaizen events, drive continuous improvement, mentor teams, and manage a project pipeline with financial impact validation, using Lean Six Sigma methods (A3, DMAIC, 8D).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of progressive experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Experience mentoring and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Continuous Improvement projects aligned with business strategy and KPIs.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and sustainment of results.
• Drive cost savings and elimination of non-value-added activities.
• Coordinate financial impact validation with Finance.
• Develop deployments of BDPS and standard work across operations.
