Job summary

Qualifications

• Responsible for driving foundational and transformational lean competencies within the Lean Organization and plant.
• Partner with Operations and the Lean Manufacturing Supervisor to improve Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale and innovation.
• Aim to decrease manufacturing cost and drive waste from production processes in line with Lean strategy.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for performing work in a safe manner and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Continuously developing lean skills within the Lean Organization and plant, teaching current lean principles/methodology.
• Plan and facilitate 3-4 Kaizen events per year with clear agendas and deliverables.
• Track cost savings per Kaizen event and coordinate with Engineering and Finance to realize lean savings.
• Support the site’s 5S program and participate in Gemba audits and iKaizen initiatives.
• Own one Value Stream Map and manage current/future state updates with cross-functional teams.
