UFP Industries in Shawnee, OK seeks a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to drive the site’s CI initiative and lead the Continuous Improvement Team in identifying and eliminating waste across the plant.

You will coordinate Lean activities with the CI Team, evaluate operations for improvement opportunities, and facilitate VSM/Kaizen events while training staff in CI principles and practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years lean manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kanban,Value stream mapping, Kaizen, and visual environment/factory.

Responsabilités

• Establish and lead the plant Continuous Improvement Team.
• Coordinate Lean activities with the CI Team.
• Evaluate operations to identify waste and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate VSM and Kaizen activities.
• Develop, prioritize, and implement solutions to reduce waste and improve performance.
• Document and standardize improvements.
• Teach, coach, and mentor all levels of employees in Continuous Improvement and manufacturing principles.
• Train employees to identify and eliminate waste.
• Develop programs to foster employee involvement to promote a Continuous Improvement culture.
• Attend seminars, lectures, and training classes on Continuous Improvement and share gained knowledge with plant staff.
• Prepares regular and special reports as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
