Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Continuous Improvement professional to lead process enhancement efforts across manufacturing and office environments. You will drive efficiency, quality, safety, and productivity through Lean tools, training, and hands-on support.

You will mentor teams, manage dashboards, and report CI outcomes to stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Hybrid in Fort Mill, SC, with visa and relocation conditions as stated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in process improvement.
• Lean Consultant and/or Lean Coach certification.
• Ability to structure work independently.
• Strong data analysis and complex problem solving; value-stream mapping.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and coaching skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and follow-through.
• Experience presenting to executives.
• Proficiency in MS Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote, and Loop.

Responsibilities

• Develop & execute CI strategies aligned with organizational performance goals.
• Data & metrics analysis; monitor KPI trends and identify improvements.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve quality, throughput, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Lean adoption through training of structured methodologies.
• Tools & systems management including training docs and dashboards.
• Root cause analysis using Kaizen, 5Why, A3s, and other problem-solving tools.
• Training & coaching staff on Lean principles.
• Project reporting & stakeholder alignment on CI outcomes.
• Ensure safety & quality compliance of improvements.
