Daimler Truck North America in Detroit, MI is seeking a Lean Coach to lead the development of Detroit Lean Expert Consultant talent and manage improvement portfolios. You will align resources to business priorities, coach plant leadership, and drive Lean maturity through structured problem solving and transformational initiatives.

You will also champion AI, Copilot, Power BI, and Daimler digital tools to improve decision-making, knowledge sharing, and process efficiency while reporting project

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college, Business, Manufacturing, Supplier Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Responsabilidades

• Coach and manage Lean Expert Consultant Program (LCQP) applying Lean Methodologies / TOS Principles / World Class Manufacturing
• Develop Plant Road Map & Hosh Kanri through SFM, CI Workshops, Lean Expert Projects, Kaizen activities and cost-down initiatives
• Interface with DTNA on the coordination and development of DTNA Lean Coaching Qualification Program
• Supervise hourly and salary
• Champion the integration of AI, Copilot, Power BI, and Daimler digital tools to improve decision-making, knowledge sharing, and process efficiency
• Provide regular reporting on project status, potentials/savings and own relevant department and plant KPIs
• Partner with plant leadership, manufacturing teams, support functions, and corporate stakeholders to align improvement priorities with business objectives
• Influence leaders and stakeholders to adopt Lean thinking and continuous improvement behaviors throughout the organization
• Interpret process standards and Management / organizational policies to the work force; uphold safety and environmental regulations while complying with terms of contractual labor agreement
