Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Continuous Improvement/Change Agent in Grand Rapids, MI to drive Lean transformation and strengthen a culture of continuous improvement. You will support Lean adoption across operations, partnering with leaders to improve efficiency, eliminate waste, and sustain operational excellence.

Responsibilities include mapping processes, reviewing procedures, and leading Rapid Improvement Events to deliver measurable productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Lean manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.
• Experience training, coaching, and developing others in Lean tools and methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process mapping to assess efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
• Review procedures to identify waste, develop improvements, and organize teams to implement change.
• Plan and execute Rapid Improvement Events and Just Do Its to eliminate waste and boost productivity.
• Train and coach leaders and staff on problem-solving and core Lean principles, including flow and standardized work.
• Collaborate with managers and supervisors to resolve issues during implementation and sustainment.
