Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to lead a 6-12 member team, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement on the floor. Responsibilities include safety leadership, process control, and cross-training to meet daily throughput goals.

You will coach staff, document standardized work, and escalate issues as needed while maintaining a harassment-free environment and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) concepts and ability to facilitate the problem‑solving process.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Coordinate safety training and ensure compliance with 5-S standards.
• Plan and prioritize daily throughput with team scheduling and staffing.
• Drive safety initiatives and participate in incident investigations.
• Interface with customers, engineering and other departments for process walks.
• Record attendance and ensure adherence to company policies and deviations.
