Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience, plus 7+ years of progressive experience in continuous improvement, BPM, operational excellence, health plan operations, or a related field.
• Advanced experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies and leading cross-functional improvement initiatives from problem identification through implementation.
• Experience facilitating or coaching Kaizen events and structured improvement workshops, with strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Experience implementing process improvements that deliver measurable outcomes within Health plan or payer operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional business process improvement initiatives from discovery and analysis through design, implementation, and sustainment.
• Partner with leaders, employees, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, quality, and the member and employee experience.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and business process management methodologies to identify root causes, reduce waste and variation, and design improved future-state processes.
• Facilitate and coach Kaizen events and structured problem-solving sessions, using data and insights to help develop recommendations and measure results.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships, support organizational change, and coach teams and leaders to adopt and sustain continuous improvement practices.
• May have direct leadership responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
