Medica is a nonprofit health plan serving communities in Minnesota and beyond. The Manager, Business Process Engineering leads cross-functional process improvement initiatives, coaches Kaizen events, and collaborates with vendors and staff to design optimized business processes.

The role emphasizes Lean Six Sigma mastery, data-driven performance metrics, and organizational change management. The position is office-based in Minnetonka, MN with hybrid work expectations and a total rewards package,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; 7+ years in continuous improvement, BPM, health plan ops.
• Mastery over Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools including Kaizen, A3, Kanban, 5 Whys, FMEA, Control Plans.
• Experience creating enterprise operating performance metrics and dashboards.
• Proven leadership across large cross-functional teams.
• Continuous improvement and implementation experience in health plan operations.
• PMI-PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized business processes.
• Coach Kaizen events and workshops to rapidly solve problems.
• Collaborate with vendors and employees at all levels to achieve goals.
• Develop and implement enterprise performance metrics and dashboards.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve member experience and service delivery.
