Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.

You will drive adoption of new technologies (automation, robotics, CAM software), analyze 3D model data to optimize workflows, and leverage data analytics for continuous improvement. Requires Bachelor's degree and active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required to apply.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment cross-functionally with disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, QA and production operations.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures including composite fabrication, structural assembly, machining, bonded assemblies and/or installations.
• Ability to obtain special program access within 3 months of start date.
• Active Secret security clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
