Job summary

Materion Corporation seeks a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive process control, cost reduction, and quality improvements. You'll lead engineering teams, mentor Green and Yellow Belts, and partner with operations to implement DMAIC-based improvements across manufacturing.

Responsibilities include coaching, data analysis, and developing SOPs, while aligning with EH&S and quality programs. Requires 5–8 years in CI or process engineering and an engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in engineering or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.
• 5-8 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing setting or training in Lean Six Sigma or DMAIC problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple complex assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous improvement leadership in process control, cost and yield improvements, and cycle time reduction.
• Lead DMAIC projects and coach engineers in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
