Job summary

The Kinetic Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for its Lonoke facility in Lonoke, AR. The role focuses on implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints, coaching leaders, and leading improvement projects in a high-rate manufacturing environment.

You will train others, perform time studies, and apply DMAIC with a hands-on approach. Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of lean, six sigma, and theory of constraints concepts.
• 2 years of technical/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience with Minitab or similar software preferred.
• Experience using basic hand tools and power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team to prioritize process improvements based on highest impact and lowest cost.
• Perform time studies and use statistical analysis to drive performance improvements.
• Apply Six Sigma methodology (DMAIC) to projects.
• Lead implementation of lean concepts and tools including 5S, Standard Work, Leveling, Pull, and Visual Factory.
• Lead value stream and process mappings; drive Kaizen projects and blitzes.
• Support CI specialists and engineers and share best practices across teams.
