Danfoss in Jackson, MI is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead Lean transformation, coaching cross-functional teams to drive year-over-year productivity gains and safer, more efficient operations.

You will map value streams, conduct root cause analyses, and champion Kaizen and 5S, partnering with production leaders to deliver measurable results aligned with key business goals.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in a continuous improvement role in manufacturing.
• Deep Lean and Six Sigma expertise; Green Belt preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing improvement projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including value stream mapping.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar MRP systems and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams on Lean and Six Sigma on the shop floor.
• Use value stream mapping and data analysis to identify opportunities and design efficient processes.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts to permanently solve problems.
• Act as Lean champion and coach, training Kaizen and 5S across the site.
• Partner with production leaders to develop tactical improvement plans with measurable results.
