Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Engineering Manager for Continuous Improvement and Lean leadership. You will guide manufacturing engineering, process improvement, automation, and capital projects to achieve SQDCI goals.

Responsibilities include leading a multidisciplinary team, establishing standards, and driving Lean/ Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity and profitability. On-site role with opportunities to shape an advanced manufacturing culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading capital projects and manufacturing process improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team to support production, quality, safety, and business objectives.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and process controls to improve operational effectiveness.
• Direct capital expenditure planning, equipment selection, automation projects, and facility improvements.
• Drive problem-solving activities utilizing Root Cause Analysis, 8D, A3, and Six Sigma.
• Support new product introductions, product transfers, and process validations.
• Develop Lean Manufacturing strategy and Continuous Improvement roadmap.
• Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Monitor plant performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
