Fragile, based in Indiana, seeks a hands-on Refurbishment Process Engineer to analyze and optimize repair workflows across electronics and consumer devices. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, apply Lean, 5S, and cellular layouts to minimize cycle times, reduce bottlenecks, and lower refurbishment costs.

You will design line layouts, balance lines, develop SOPs with technicians, and implement KPI tracking for FPY, MTTR, scrap, and efficiency.

Competenze

Hands-on engineering experience in process optimization and shop-floor layouts.
2–6 years in high-mix manufacturing, electronics assembly, remanufacturing, or refurbishing.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
Proficient data manipulation and visualization to analyze cycle times and baselines.

Mansioni

Map and redesign intake, triage, repair, testing, and repacking lines to boost throughput.
Perform time-and-motion studies to balance workloads and reduce idle time.
Create clear SOPs, visuals, and teardown guides to reduce variance and rework.
Specify and layout ergonomic, ESD-safe benches and testing rigs.
Track FPY, MTTR, scrap, and labor metrics to drive improvements.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and HR on onboarding and parts staging.
