Job summary

Workforce Recruiter seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to set up and maintain production lines used to repair and upgrade returned customer electronics, and to support technicians diagnosing and repairing electronics for safe, efficient operations.

You will design test fixtures and systems, perform root-cause analysis, gather repair data, mentor technicians, and collaborate with engineering to implement improvements in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with microprocessor- or microcontroller-based products required.
• Background in electronics manufacturing, testing, or repair strongly preferred.
• Experience developing automated test systems preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup of new production line equipment for test, repair, and upgrade.
• Assist in design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and test systems.
• Troubleshoot product failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collect repair data and maintain accurate repair records and databases.
• Provide feedback to product development teams regarding design corrections and improvements.
• Assist in developing and documenting troubleshooting and repair protocols.
• Perform repairs on returned devices following safety standards.
• Assist technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electronic products.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to operations and repair technicians.
