Fragile is seeking a hands-on Refurbishment Process Engineer to optimize repair operations across high-mix product lines, including desktops, laptops, coffee machines, and robotics. You will lead continuous improvement using Lean, 5S, and cellular layouts to reduce cycle times and boost first-pass yield.

Map workflows, balance lines, develop SOPs, design reusable packaging, and collaborate with Supply Chain and HR on onboarding and tooling.

Competenze

• Hands-on engineering aptitude with interest in physical process optimization and shop-floor setups.
• 2–6 years of engineering experience in high-mix manufacturing, electronics assembly, remanufacturing, or refurbishment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering; Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Lean tools: 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Kanban, Poka-Yoke; strong electro-mechanical and testing setup knowledge.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI, Tableau) to analyze cycle times and baselines.

• Workflow Design & Cell Optimization: map and redesign intake, triage, repair, testing, and repacking lines for throughput across high-mix lines.
• Packaging Efficiency & Design: create reusable packaging solutions with suppliers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Supply Chain for spare parts staging and with HR for onboarding and skills matrices.
• Line Balancing & Bottleneck Resolution: perform time-and-motion studies to remove idle time and balance workloads.
• Standardized Operations: write SOPs and job aids with lead technicians to reduce variance and rework.
• Workstation & Tooling Ergonomics: specify ergonomic benches and testing rigs to boost speed and safety.
• Yield & Quality Analytics: track FPY, MTTR, scrap rate, and labor efficiency to drive improvements.
