Job summary

Harmon, Inc. seeks a manufacturing leader to sustain high production levels and uphold safety and quality standards. You will train teams, provide clear direction, and drive continuous improvement using lean tools to maintain efficient operations.

You will guide problem solving, lead production planning, and ensure proper PPE usage while fostering collaboration and accountability across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• 5–7 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Curtain wall industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and accountability of leadership responsibilities.
• Guide others safely through their work tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing tools, lead daily production planning meetings and track performance.
• Escalate problems that cannot be solved at team level and collaborate with leaders to resolve them.
• Communicate clearly and assertively to co-workers; express needs directly and appropriately.
• Provide prompt and constructive feedback on performance; be direct and sincere.
• Be proficient in blueprint drawing interpretation and assemble units with proper quality and safety precautions.
• Lead by example and motivate others to achieve production goals.
• Train new and current employees using a mix of in-person and online methods.
• Coordinate with the Manufacturing Leader to balance line workloads and optimize productivity.
