Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Puerto Rico seeks a manufacturing supervisor to drive lean processes, coordinate production, quality, and materials to meet standards, and supervise personnel. You will implement schedules, improve efficiency, and uphold safety and quality systems across the line.

The role requires 5–7 years of supervisory manufacturing experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, and SAP knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering required.
Five to seven years of supervisory and manufacturing related experience.
SAP practical knowledge preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish written and verbal communication desirable.
Exposure to Six Sigma, UL, CSA, ISO quality systems.
Exposure to Kanban, Kaizen manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

Implements and adheres to production schedules to maintain on-time delivery of orders.
Responsible for the efficiency of the assigned personnel and overall efficiency of product lines.
Leads the implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the assigned area through lean manufacturing techniques.
Ensures Quality System integrity and compliance with Hubbell Caribe Limited procedures.
For supervisors, involved in hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals.
Oversees absenteeism management, vacations, and leaves; enforces safety policies and PPE usage.
