Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly associates across receiving, production, and shipping, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while driving daily productivity in a fast-paced facility.

You will oversee the 2nd shift, collaborate with maintenance and QA, apply lean methods to reduce waste, monitor output against schedules, maintain accurate production records, and mentor team members toward continuous improvement and strong performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years in manufacturing with 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree candidates with no manufacturing experience must have 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with focus on associate development.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules, customer specifications, output goals and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance to monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Optimize labor, raw materials and equipment usage for cost-effective operations.
• Maintain accurate production records including output, quality metrics and attendance.
• Provide regular updates to management on production status and opportunities for improvement.
