Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly associates across receiving, order processing, production and shipping, ensuring products move smoothly through the warehouse. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and lean improvements while meeting schedules and coaching staff.

You will maintain accurate production records and collaborate with engineering, QA, and the supply chain. Experience with SAP and MS Office is preferred; 2nd shift is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in manufacturing with 1+ year in supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and ISO/OSHA standards.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office.
• Must be available to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Lead safety training and enforce risk management for all associates.
• Mentor and coach team members, focusing on development.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment usage.
• Maintain production records and report status to management.
• Act as liaison with engineering, QA and supply chain.
