Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to lead Leads and drive continuous improvement in a lean production environment. The role emphasizes workforce development, cost reduction, and strong teamwork to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of supervisory experience, a Bachelor's degree, and excellent communication skills, with a proven track record in quality and safety practices within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Must have demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must have ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization.
• Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct work activity of Leads in assigned area.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and eliminate waste; champion Lean Kaizen events; coordinate new product launches with Engineering.
• Lead and support a High Performance Team culture.
• Ensure quality standards and coordinate corrective actions to reduce rework and scrap.
• Perform capacity analysis and staffing for the production area; troubleshoot scheduling and material issues.
• Develop and deploy standard work and work instructions; ensure process stability.
• Promote safety policies and conduct safety investigations and audits.
• Address scrap using HEAT forms and 8D completion.
