Job summary

Carlisle Companies is a leading manufacturer of building envelope products and solutions, seeking a Production Supervisor in Fernley, NV. You will oversee 20–40 production staff and 1–3 lead operators, plan workloads, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement.

Overtime and travel up to 10% may be required. The role demands 5+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience or an associate degree, strong Lean/5S knowledge, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes in construction/production.
• Experience with safety procedures and lockout/tagout.
• Able to identify quality defects and corrective actions.
• Lean Manufacturing and 5S experience.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, train and supervise daily production activities and lead operators.
• Plan and assign work, review labor requirements and hire per budget.
• Prepare performance reviews and maintain performance metrics.
• Ensure PPE use and enforce safety regulations across the plant.
• Support employee coaching, development and HR decisions with management.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives using COS and SQDC boards, drive waste reduction.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventories to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Lead special projects and cover for operations management during absences.
• Maintain accurate time and attendance records.
