Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Production Supervisor in Elgin, IL to lead an in-house team and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time, quality readiness in a fast-paced, safety‑critical manufacturing environment.

You will drive safety, implement lean practices, and ensure operating standards through strong training and communication. The role requires a 5+ year supervisory background in manufacturing and expertise with SAP invoicing and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean fundamentals in the manufacturing industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office/Outlook.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A desire to create the safest, most cost-effective work environment and exceed customer expectations.
• The ability to create and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Must be experienced in SAP invoicing platform.

Responsibilities

• Leads in-house team and coordinates with vendors to ensure on-time readiness.
• Manages employee/vendor health and safety through daily safety meetings, training and observations, and regular assessments.
• Ensures operating standards are conducted; supported by training and communication actions.
• Manages work orders, vendor purchases, and inventory counts.
• Focuses on driving first time quality and reduces long service calls through root-cause analysis.
