Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials invites a Driven Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team and lead COS initiatives across manufacturing facilities. You will apply Lean and Six Sigma to improve safety, on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance, partnering with global leadership to align improvements with business goals.

The role emphasizes training and mentoring plant teams, facilitating Kaizen events, and sustaining programs such as 5S, TPM, and visual management while traveling up

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, operations or continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Lean Certification or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support the COS journey and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze operations using Value Stream Mapping, gap analysis and Lean tools.
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and improvement initiatives.
  • Coach and train employees and leaders on COS principles and Lean methodologies.
  • Implement and sustain programs such as 5S, SQDC Visual Management, TPM and Idea Systems.
  • Partner with plant leadership to align strategies with business goals.
  • Establish measurable standards and ensure sustainability of improvements.
  • Mentor plant COS champions and support steering committee activities.
