Job summary

Carlisle is seeking an Operations Manager for the Medina facility to lead all production operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, cost-effective manufacture of products meeting quality and delivery requirements.

You will lead production teams, partner with cross-functional groups, and be accountable for performance, safety, quality, and cost management. Experience in metal stamping or related manufacturing is valued.

Qualifications

• Academic Degree is required, with emphasis on Operations, Business Management or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of proven success in managing production in a world-class manufacturing organization.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to build a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Coach, develop, and mentor production supervisors and frontline leaders for accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies to reduce waste.
• Monitor schedules, labor, equipment, and workflow to meet customer demand efficiently.
• Collaborate with Materials, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve operational challenges.
• Use KPIs to monitor results and implement corrective actions across safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity.
