Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions seeks a Production Manager to lead daily operations at our Chicago site, driving safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction while guiding supervision and staff to work safely and efficiently. You will apply Lean manufacturing practices, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with planning to meet production schedules.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or operations management (Masters preferred) and 7–10 years of related experience are required, with Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or operations management; Masters desired.
• 7–10 years in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles including managing teams.
• Experience in a Lean environment.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations to drive safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, and 8D problem analysis.
• Review production, safety, and quality reports; develop action plans.
• Implement improvements for cost, quality, and production.
• Schedule maintenance and ensure preventative maintenance program.
• Review KPIs and coordinate with planning for production schedules.
• Train employees on safety, quality, and production processes.
• Interface with customers and suppliers as needed.
