Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Production Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at our Chicago manufacturing location, driving safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction. You will provide leadership to supervision and staff, ensuring they have the tools needed to perform safely and efficiently.

Key focus areas include Lean practices, Six Sigma, and proactive maintenance. You will manage cycles, schedules, and KPIs, while coordinating with planning and operations teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or operations management; Masters desired.
• 7–10 years of experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or process improvement leading teams.
• Experience in a Lean environment.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the site’s safety and quality management programs.
• Practices Lean Manufacturing to include Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D Problem Analysis.
• Prepares and reviews production, safety and quality reports; develops action plans.
• Establishes and implements improvements for cost reduction, quality and production.
• Directs developmental or experimental activities.
• Collaborates with staff to resolve production issues using problem‑solving tools.
