Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Production Supervisor in Ohio to lead a frontline hourly team, driving safety, quality, and productivity. You will translate strategic goals into daily execution, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement across shifts.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with the union and management to sustain world-class manufacturing standards. Experience with Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or other relevant experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts/hours, including nights and weekends.
• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodology and / or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) Experience

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated hourly team to deliver high-quality products and meet production targets.
• Act as safety champion, enforcing regulations and fostering vigilance.
• Drive operational excellence and continually improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Apply data-driven decision making to reduce downtime and defects.
• Develop and coach team, build high performing groups and collaborate with union and management.
