Job summary

GE HealthCare in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Group Lead to coordinate the daily activities of a manufacturing team while performing production tasks. You will support planning, schedule work, provide instruction, monitor quality and productivity, and resolve routine issues.

This hands-on leader acts as a technical resource and helps drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role collaborates with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of manufacturing, production, logistics, or related experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations (multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
• Ability to use hand/tools and inspection equipment.
• Ability to operate measurement tools and basic manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform transactions in company computer systems.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, workflows, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the daily work activities of a defined group of employees.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing work to meet objectives.
• Provide instruction and training to employees and maintain training records.
• Monitor production activities and communicate performance and issues to leadership.
• Troubleshoot and assist in resolving production, material, equipment, and process-related issues.
• Support implementation of new products, processes, equipment, and methods.
• Serve as a technical resource for team members and establish best practices.
• Ensure safety, standard work, quality procedures, and company policies are followed.
• Perform production, rework, and supporting activities to maintain efficiency.
• Maintain records in company systems and manage inventory accuracy.
