Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Production Support Specialist to coordinate with the Production Team Leader, Engineering Managers and other departments to drive quality improvements in products and processes.

The role focuses on Lean concepts to improve efficiency, GMP compliance, and supporting daily production flow while maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment within the assigned area.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or local equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of related manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to communicate and receive instructions.
  • Computer skills including internet and Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in medical device GMP environment and leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new product introduction into the work center and participate on Pilot Production Teams.
  • Ensure a safe, clean and efficient work area for employees in the assigned product area.
  • Monitor and report all resource issues.
  • Work with Group Leaders to ensure product and process quality for daily production flow.
  • Monitor, report and investigate defects attributed to their areas through MRB interface.
  • Implement process improvements using Lean concepts to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Ensure QA procedures and policies are followed within the assigned area.
  • Ensure manufacturing documentation is current and correct revision.
  • Comply with EHS regulations and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned, including quality activities and training.
