Job summary

Stratasys is seeking a production leader to drive daily scheduling, manpower planning, and continuous improvement across multi-shift lines. You will ensure adherence to procedures, lead Tier 1/2 meetings, and collaborate with departments to meet goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years in leadership, lean manufacturing experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a leadership role with demonstrated ability to work with others.
  • 1+ years of experience with lean manufacturing methods (e.g., 5S, Demand Flow, Six Sigma)
  • Experience in a multi-shift production environment
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills; Fluent in English
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and HR Systems

Responsibilities

  • Understand Stratasys goals and manufacturing strategies to execute the production schedule in assigned production areas to meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly goals.
  • Ensure production procedures and policies are followed and quality standards are maintained.
  • Foster good communication and teamwork within production and with other departments.
  • Work with the organization to improve processes and efficiencies and reduce scrap/rework.
  • Drive and lead participation in continuous improvement activities.
  • Develop schedules and manpower requirements for production cells.
  • Ensure execution of daily Tier 1 meetings with data preparation and escalation to Tier 2.
  • Participate in budgeting and planning activities for assigned production lines.
  • Update management and other departments on issues or risks to production plan and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure production lines including workflow, people and resources are executed.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are understood by the team and address issues to drive productivity.
  • Develops work team and leads to meet operations goals using Stratasys leadership tools.
  • Ensure production teams have tools and resources needed to complete work.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in solving problems.
  • Staffing production cells based on schedules and line capacities including hiring and onboarding.
  • Drive and maintain a training system for production personnel per quality standards.
  • Ensure production team follows all safety procedures and systems.
  • Identify, report and remediate safety issues with EH&S team; lead or participate in safety committees.
  • Ensure production team produces products meeting quality specs and partners with Quality team for customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and communicate quality issues and recommend actions for improvements.
  • Ensure production team is trained and follows all written instructions and policies.
  • Lead improvements through lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure timely completion of timecards, time off, and expense approvals.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Stratasys Behaviors and values.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership
