Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Specialist to sustain and enhance assembly line standards and takt time. You will drive mistake-proofing, standard work, and kaizen events to eliminate non-value activities and boost productivity.

You will train operators, collaborate with line leaders on 5S, visual controls, and safety, and work with internal and external stakeholders to sustain continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing and Kaizen methods.
• Ability to design parts and fixtures for continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and coaching mindset.
• Proficient with CAD and basic measurement tools.
• Must read/interpret drawings and perform time studies.

Responsibilities

• Apply lean principles to continuously improve the area.
• Evaluate flow and identify needs for improvement.
• Conduct video analysis and design experiments.
• Improve material flow and establish new standard work.
• Lead kaizen events and coach operators in 5S.
• Document improvements and share best practices.
