Job summary

BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc.) is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the plant's CI strategy and drive measurable improvements on the manufacturing floor. You will partner with operations and support functions to own CI methodology, problem solving, and the improvement pipeline, ensuring sustained, standardized results.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving with Lean Six Sigma tools, and the ability to coach CI staff and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing, engineering, operations, or continuous improvement experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in plant operations or continuous improvement, including cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated record of leading improvement projects with measurable results in throughput, labor productivity, quality, cost, delivery, OEE, inventory, or other manufacturing metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own and deploy the plant CI strategy aligned with site objectives, priorities, and targets for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, labor efficiency, material utilization, inventory, and overhead.
• Partner with Plant Manager to identify constraints and translate gaps into a prioritized CI roadmap with owners, timing, and measurable results.
• Lead critical improvement initiatives from problem definition through sustainment, including data gathering, root-cause analysis, countermeasure development, validation, standardization, and sustainment.
• Maintain a strong shop-floor presence, observe execution, coach teams through structured problem solving, and validate actual vs. standard conditions.
• Use Lean principles to improve flow, throughput, labor productivity, quality, OEE, material movement, WIP, and value-stream performance.
• Establish and maintain visible daily management systems connecting takt, performance, constraints, countermeasures, owners, due dates, and results.
