Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company Dayton, TN is seeking a Plant Manufacturing Engineer II to lead safety, quality and productivity cost-out projects across manufacturing processes. You will drive equipment refurbishment, TPM practices and continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with maintenance, engineering and operations to improve OEE and MTBF while controlling costs.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 5+ years in metal fabrication and proven project leadership, with strong CAD, MS Office

Qualifications

BS in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical preferred).
Minimum 5 years’ experience with metal fabrication equipment and process improvement.
Demonstrated hands-on and leadership experience executing projects.

Responsibilities

Lead safety, quality and productivity cost-out projects with detailed project plans.
Benchmark, research, evaluate and specify technology/equipment for process improvements.
Implement new technology, equipment or processes and track progress against plan.
Lead equipment refurbishment projects to improve reliability and OEE/MTBF.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and operations to improve Preventive Maintenance and TPM.
Analyze failures to determine root cause and create mitigation actions.
Support commissioning activities for upgrades, renovations, and construction.
Develop control plans for equipment and audit processes for conformance to standards.
