Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
• Significant work experience in manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience leading continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
• Experience with Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, SMED, and TPM
• Experience with Managing for Daily Improvement (MDI) and visual management
• Experience leading equipment outages, installations, and new process implementations
• Ability to facilitate root cause analysis and develop sustainable corrective actions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Excel and Word
• Automotive or similar manufacturing quality systems experience (APQP, PFMEA, CAPA, Control Plans) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop Lean Manufacturing processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, and cost.
• Develop and execute process improvement plans with measurable, sustainable results.
• Monitor process performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with operations and other departments to implement new or improved processes.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for new and modified processes.
• Lead Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, SMED, and TPM activities.
• Support MDI and visual daily management processes, including Tier 1-4 boards.
• Lead productivity and OEE improvement projects.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement countermeasures.
• Lead projects involving equipment outages, installations, and new processes.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for projects.
• Support quality systems (APQP, PFMEA, CAPA, Control Plans).
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
