Job summary

Viatris is seeking an Associate Project Manager Operations – 1st Shift. You will support the Site Lean Champion in planning and executing Lean initiatives, coordinating cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, and maintaining schedules, dashboards, and action logs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ experience, strong communication, and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook; PMP/Lean/Six Sigma preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies; MS Office proficiency.
• Strong project management, planning, organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Lean Champion in planning, coordination, and execution of Lean initiatives and governance routines.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, escalate issues.
• Maintain project plans, dashboards, and action logs to ensure visibility.
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, agendas, decisions, and follow-ups.
• Support Lean governance materials and Site Leadership Team meetings.
• Prepare presentations and executive summaries.
• Analyze information and performance data to identify trends.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Assist with coordinating site visits and leadership events.
• Identify opportunities to improve project management processes.
