Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a manufacturing process improvement professional to lead lean initiatives and capital projects across the Mid-Atlantic region, with 75-90% travel to NC, PA, CT and NY locations. Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in precast.
• In-depth knowledge of applying lean methodologies to support continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of delivering results using lean manufacturing techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD; experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.
• Strong leadership to inspire a diverse team within a matrixed environment.
• Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for lean improvements and capital investments to boost profitability and competitiveness.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to plant teams executing lean projects.
• Drive changes in manufacturing processes through hands-on coordination with plant teams.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
• Lead plant improvement workshops to diagnose bottlenecks in production.
• Provide kaizen, 5S training and lean tools instruction.
