Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks a manufacturing process improvement professional to lead lean initiatives and capital projects across Texas plants, driving profitability, throughput and quality through hands-on leadership with Operations, Engineering and Safety.

The role requires 75–90% travel across Texas, coordinating with plant teams, delivering kaizen, 5S, and capital project analyses, and ensuring alignment with Operational Excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience ideal in precast.
• Proven experience applying lean manufacturing to support production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of achieving positive results using lean techniques.
• Strong skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to apply lean process improvements and capital investment.
• Provide guidance and training to plant teams on lean practices and projects.
• Drive process changes with hands-on communication at plant level.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
• Lead plant improvement workshops to diagnose bottlenecks.
• Translate operational needs into project requirements and analyses.
• Develop and evaluate capital project business cases and ROI analyses.
