Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a manufacturing process improvement specialist to drive lean initiatives and capital projects across the Texas region. The role involves working with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EHS, with heavy travel (75-90%).

You will develop production methods, evaluate bottlenecks, train plant teams, and oversee capital project proposals from scope to ROI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast.
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing to support continuous production operations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify improvement opportunities across regional locations with operations and/or sales teams.
• Provide guidance and training to plant teams executing lean processes.
• Drive capital project proposals and ROI analyses for prioritization.
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence framework in plants.
