Job summary

Deceuninck North America in Monroe, Ohio is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead operations and drive performance, quality and safety. You will mentor teams, align daily activities with production goals, and support DNA’s growth objectives.

The role requires 2–4 years of frontline supervision, knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, and the ability to work with data systems. Bachelor's degree is preferred; strong mentoring skills and urgency are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Two to four years of frontline supervision experience.
• Experience working with computer systems to enter and track data.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles. Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Proven ability to mentor and manage employees.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Drive accountability for operational, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Provide direction, leadership and mentorship to employees in the management of their assigned areas to ensure that business objectives and satisfactory performance are met.
• Assesses competency and capabilities of direct reports, ensuring employee development.
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Effectively participate in the process of employee selection, hiring and retention.
• Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Lead by example.
• Own safety culture for team. Manage safety investigations and related corrective actions. Participates on Safety Committee with meaningful contributions.
