Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the Harvey, IL facility on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3-11pm, occasional Saturdays). You will supervise machine operators, drive Lean Daily Management, and own safety, quality, delivery, and productivity for the shift.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing; a bachelor's degree is preferred, with experience in steel manufacturing or tube forming strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience in steel manufacturing or tube forming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead using the Atkore Business System and Lean Daily Management.
• Develop plans to improve engagement and performance of the team.
• Maintain a positive team atmosphere with regular team meetings.
• Implement cross training to cover work cells.
• Coach team in root cause analyses and countermeasures.
• Manage vacation schedules and overtime.
• Lead by example and uphold Atkore values.
