Job summary

Bonfiglioli-USA is seeking a Process Engineer to establish manufacturing processes, line and fixture concepts, material flow and floor layouts. You will collaborate with Production, Customers, and Vendors to support designs and startups, while participating in cross-functional teams for program initiatives.

The role requires a Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering degree with 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in automotive assembly, and familiarity with lean concepts, APQP,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2 years engineering experience, preferably Automotive Assembly.
• Experience with Value Stream, Mapping, Line Balancing, and JIT Delivery.
• Planning and Troubleshooting new line startups.
• APQP, FMEA, Control Plans and PPAP familiarity.
• ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience preferred).
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Act as project process engineer on new/current program startup projects.
• Assist in Continuous Improvement programs and new project rollouts.
• Plan and implement assembly process improvements using lean manufacturing techniques.
• Audit processes, reports and resolve non-conformance.
• Develop process instructions, diagrams, and floor layouts.
• Prepare equipment spare-parts lists and tooling lineups.
• Coordinate with vendors for specs, parts and equipment.
• Provide data for operational decisions and training.
