Job summary

Bonfiglioli USA in Hebron, KY is seeking a Process Engineer to establish manufacturing processes, line concepts, and floor layouts. You will partner with Production, Customers, and Vendors to support program startups and improvements.

Responsibilities include leading lean initiatives, developing process instructions, managing FMEA, and coordinating tooling and equipment. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years engineering experience; automotive assembly preferred.
• Familiar with Value Stream Mapping, LEAN, JIT delivery concepts.
• Experience with APQP, FMEA, Control Plans and PPAP is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience required).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Pro-E and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Act as project process engineer on new or startup programs.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives across projects.
• Plan and implement assembly process improvements to meet goals.
• Audit processes and resolve nonconformances.
• Develop process diagrams and floor layouts using CME standards.
• Maintain FMEA and track product/process changes.
• Prepare equipment spare parts lists and tooling specs.
• Coordinate vendor selections and equipment purchases.
• Create and maintain process instructions and cost data.
• Deliver technical training with manufacturing teams.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
