Job summary

The ideal candidate is articulate, detail oriented, and proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

You must work safely, with a strong work ethic, and be able to work without constant supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing or related fields.
• Able to read a measuring tape.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment (CNC, Edgebander, dowel inserter, sliding saw, forklift, hand tools).
• Physical workload: lift 50-100 lbs; no AC in shop; fast-paced environment.
• Forklift driving is a plus.
• Drug-Free Workplace.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment (CNC, Edgebander, dowel inserter, sliding saw, forklift, hand tools).
• Complete work orders promptly.
• Pack shipments on a pallet.
• Shipping and Receiving.
• Maintain inventory.
• Produce closet components using melamine wood and hardware.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Arrive on time and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Contribute to lean manufacturing to improve workflow.
