Job summary

RFT Direct Labor in Binghamton, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to perform basic manufacturing operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies. You will work on tasks requiring judgment, train peers, and may lead a department or team as an extension of the manager.

Candidates should have 6+ years of manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement. Overtime may be required; lifting up to 35 lbs and safety gear are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of prior manufacturing experience.
• Ability to mentor or train peers.
• Must communicate and support a team environment.
• Must demonstrate leadership skills and support company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and certify on non-complex and complex operations within current process.
• In-depth knowledge of process within current department and dependencies.
• Cross-train and apply skills in other areas of the department.
• Achieve quality targets and drive process improvements.
• Provide direction and training to others as needed.
• Ensure safety practices and quality systems are followed.
