Job summary

Miller Industries is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our Fenton/Burton, Michigan operations. You will oversee production control, maintenance, cost accounting, logistics, and manufacturing, driving continuous improvement and safety across the plant.

Strong leadership is required to align cross-functional teams with business priorities and budgets. The role emphasizes developing supervisors, managing budgets, and delivering on production and quality goals while fostering a compliant,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or industrial management; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 5–10 years of supervisory or managerial experience in fabrication, welding, HVAC, or related industry.
• Ability to lead through change and implement process improvements in manufacturing.
• Experience with KPI development and safety/compliance programs.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and maintain records for inspections and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations by aligning supervisors and cross-functional teams to business priorities.
• Drive budget execution and performance against production, quality and service goals.
• Develop and coach supervisors and frontline leaders for ownership and continuous improvement.
• Lead change management to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Establish workflow and methods to meet production schedules and improve equipment performance.
• Provide reporting discipline with accurate work orders, utilization and production metrics.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Operations to resolve issues and drive results.
