Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks a Manufacturing Process Improvement lead focused on lean initiatives and capital projects in the Mountain West region. The role travels 75-90% across Arizona, Utah, and Idaho to improve profitability, throughput and quality in collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS.

Onsite work near one of our plants in Chandler, AZ, Nampa, ID, Idaho Falls, ID, or Ogden, UT; you will mentor plant teams, lead kaizen and 5S training, develop

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in precast.
• Expertise applying lean manufacturing methodologies to continuous production.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Proven track record of Lean-driven improvements.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD; ERP/MRP systems exposure.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools.
• Identify opportunities for regional process improvements with operations/sales.
• Oversee plant-level lean projects and mentor teams.
• Drive process changes through hands-on coordination.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce costs.
• Lead capital project workshops and address bottlenecks.
• Provide training on lean tools such as kaizen, 5S.
• Translate needs into project requirements and ROI analysis.
• Prioritize improvement opportunities by ROI, time, risk, cost.
• Manage capital project proposals and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence framework.
