Job summary

HEPCO Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and improvement of manufacturing work instructions and procedures.

This role focuses on converting existing instructions to a new system and improving manufacturing processes using LEAN assembly principles. The successful candidate will plan operation sequences, develop procedures for assembly, disassembly, soldering, coating, and tool fabrication, and evaluate methods for efficiency and cost.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of work experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent four years of work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and improve detailed manufacturing work instructions.
• Research and document manufacturing processes to support conversion of existing instructions.
• Plan operation sequences and develop procedures for assembly, disassembly, soldering, component removal and installation, and coating.
• Develop fabrication procedures for tools and equipment.
• Evaluate manufacturing methods for efficiency, cost, product performance, and operator effectiveness.
• Provide feedback to improve build and design processes.
• Maintain compliance with safety requirements, support audits, and promote quality throughout production.
