Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with process improvement.
• Lean manufacturing and 5S proficiency.
• Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks).
• Experience with CAPEX justification and equipment deployment.
• MRP/ERP experience.
• Ability to mentor technicians.
• Strong problem-solving and RCCA skills.
• Experience in creating and updating work instructions.
• Experience leading projects with budgeting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects from initiation through completion with budgets and milestones.
• Apply Lean tools (5S) to optimize layouts and material flow.
• Analyze processes to improve efficiency, quality, and costs.
• Prepare CAPEX justifications and oversee equipment deployment.
• Design fixtures and tooling to improve quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Manage ECOs and ensure proper documentation and communication.
• Update work instructions and process specifications.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain.
• Mentor a small team of technicians.
• Model layouts in SolidWorks.
• Use MRP/ERP for planning and control.
• Monitor KPIs and drive data-based improvements.
